From UX to Business Strategy - Looking back at my MBA journey

15 years ago, I never thought I’d be here.

I just finished a global supply management simulation as part of my MBA coursework—top 25% of the class. Not bad.

Can I tell you exactly where in that top 25%?
No. But I know I did damn well.

And honestly? That still surprises me.

If you asked me 10 years ago whether I’d be deep into business strategy, risk management, and performance data, I would have laughed.

Today? I’m doing my MBA at Boston University.
And not just doing it - thriving in it.

It’s wild to think that in just two more semesters, this chapter will be over. Bittersweet, really. I’ll miss the live sessions, the challenges, the late-night case studies—but most of all, the perspective shift this MBA has given me.

I’ve spent this time learning how to create real value, how to drive business and society forward, how to lead with integrity, and now? How to manage risk.

And you know what? Business is fun.
A lot more fun than I expected it to be.

Fun fact: Boston University’s business school building is named Rafik Hariri. As a Lebanese, that part still makes me chuckle. What are the odds?

Two more semesters to go.
It’s been a ride. Now, time to finish strong.
