Over the halfway mark: Reflections on my MBA journey at Boston University

I’m officially over the halfway mark in my MBA journey at Boston University, with less than 12 months until graduation.

Honestly? I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.
Opening up my coursework for the new semester, I was surprised to feel… excited.

I’ve started to miss the grind, the frameworks, the debates, and the community that Questrom has created.

Last semester was a game-changer

We dove deep into ethical leadership, building frameworks to navigate tough decisions, and dissected models like McKinsey’s 7S to drive cultural shifts in organizations.

But the biggest lesson?

Emotional intelligence is everything.

Leadership isn’t just about strategy; it’s about people.

This semester? It’s all about risk

Now, it’s all about risk management—learning how to:

  1. Identify risks across brand, operations, and finance.
  2. Assess their impact.
  3. Navigate uncertainty with strategic foresight.

It’s a new challenge, and I can’t wait to dive in.

Tick-tock—graduation is coming faster than I expected, but for now, I’m soaking in every moment of this journey.
